A driver was killed when his car went out of control and hit an embankment a mile from Kingscourt, Co Cavan, on the main Dublin road last night. Mr Martin O'Donnell (26), of Kilmainhamwood, Kells, Co Meath, was taken to Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, where he was pronounced dead two hours later.
