A pedestrian died last night after being struck by a car near Dundalk.
The man (43) was hit at Walterstown Cross on the Ardee Road at 7.05 p.m. and was pronounced dead at Louth County Hospital.
Gardaí from Dundalk are appealing for witnesses.
