A Belfast man has been cleared of murdering hairdresser Mr Norman Harley (46) who was beaten to death at the Antrim Road Waterworks in November 1995. But Mark Belfringer (21) from Thompson [House, Antrim Road, who has already pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm on another man, also on November 27th 1995, is now accused of causing the hairdresser's manslaughter. Mr Bellringer was cleared on direction of Belfast Crown Court judge Mr Justice Campbell.
