A man (24) who is charged with raping a girl under the age of 15, and with five counts of sexual assault on the same girl, in Galway city last summer has been sent forward for trial to the Central Criminal Court.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with raping the girl at a city centre housing estate on August 16th last and unlawful carnal knowledge of her on the same date.
