A 25-year-old man is in a stable condition in a Co Antrim hospital today after he was beaten in his bed by a masked gang with iron bars.
The man sustained injuries to his to his chest, a foot and arm after his home in Lagan Walk, Lisburn, was broken into by three masked men at about 11.30 p.m. last night.
Police said the incident appeared to be a "paramilitary-style assault".
