Man arrested following Belfast drug seizure

Police in Northern Ireland seized a number of drugs during a rountine vehicle stop overnight.

Police in Northern Ireland seized a number of drugs during a rountine vehicle stop overnight.

The seizure was made in the Holy Lands area of Belfast just after midnight last night.

Police said the seizure contained four nine-bar batches of cannabis resin valued at over £2,000 sterling each, along with 2,000 ecstasy tablets and quatities of crack cocaine and speed.

A man in his thirties has been arrested by officers from the Donegal Pass for possession of Class A and Class B drugs and possession with intent to supply.
