Shooting of a £1.6 million film took place in Limerick at the weekend.

Concorde Films, Connemara, Co Galway, was shooting The Suicide Club, a short story by Robert Louis Stevenson. The feature-length film stars Jonathan Pryce, who played in the film Evita. The shooting took place in Limerick's Georgian district and the film is set in London in 1893. It deals with suicide in the 19th century.
