GAA:The draw for the first round of the SFC qualifiers took place in Carrick on Shannon today and will see Louth take on Meath in the pick of the pairings.
Louth, last year’s Leinster finalists, were sensationally beaten by Carlow in Portlaoise this afternoon. Meath entered the qualifiers after last week’s defeat by Kildare.
Elsewhere last year’s All-Ireland beaten finalists Down will travel to Clare, while Cavan, who lost to Donegal this afternoon, will meet Longford.
The ties will be played on Saturday, June 25th with details of throw-in times and venues to be confirmed by the GAA tomorrow.
