A lorry driver was killed when his vehicle crashed and overturned in Co Cavan last night.
The lorry crashed on a bend at Tierahood, Stradone, on the road between Cavan town and Bailieboro at around 6.00 p.m. Gardaí said there were no other vehicles involved.
The dead man, who was in his fifties, has not yet been named. His body was brought to Cavan General Hospital where a post-mortem will be carried out.
