Lockheed Martin Corp has been awarded a $2.15 billion contract to restructure the Space Based Infrared Systems High component engineering, manufacturing and development systems.
The current modification for the space-based surveillance system re-baselines the program, redefines the incentive structure and extends the period of performance to June 30th 2010, the US Department of Defense said on its website.
