Martin Keown has recovered from his calf problem, thereby alleviating Arsene Wenger's centre-back dilemma which forced him to give Pascal Cygan his first league start of the season in the 3-0 victory at Birmingham on Saturday.

However, striker Sylvain Wiltord has failed to recover from the groin problem which ruled him out of the St Andrews clash. And midfielder Gilberto Silva is a major doubt after returning from international action with Brazil last week both extremely tired and with a muscle problem.

Dutchman Dennis Bergkamp, who refuses to fly, was not on the team's flight out of Luton airport this afternoon, but would have missed out anyway with a hamstring niggle. Midfielder Ray Parlour is available after serving a one match domestic suspension.
