Leeds United chairman John McKenzie has dismissed talk of the club going into administration.

Leeds United chairman John McKenzie has dismissed talk of the club going into administration.

McKenzie is battling to clear debts of around £80 million sterlng and last week sold Harry Kewell to Liverpool for £5 million.

But he told the Yorkshire Post: "We are not, and never have, contemplated the idea of putting Leeds into administration. Indeed we are working hard to secure the future of the football club and are making great strides".
