The Dublin West TD, Mr Liam Lawlor, has been given an extension till May 15th to submit various financial records to the Flood tribunal. Mr Lawlor had failed to meet the March 31st deadline set by the High Court last January.

Mr Justice Thomas Smith when told that certain documentation was still outstanding, set a final day of May 15th for the process to be completed and emphasised that that "time was of the essence".
Mr Lawlor's solicitors said that it had proved physically impossible to compile all the documentation sought by the Flood tribunal.
Counsel for the tribunal told the High Court they were satisfied that there are other financial documents that they believe are in Mr Lawlor's power to procure.
