Jeff Kenna has repeated his desire to make his loan move to Birmingham a permanent one.

Kenna is on loan at St Andrews from Blackburn and has been told by manager Graeme Souness he can leave Ewood Park on a free transfer.

Kenna said: "I would jump at the chance to join Birmingham on a permanent basis if we could sort something out.

"I would not be keen to stay on-loan beyond January 29th if a permanent move could not be worked out and, if that was the case, I would have to move on and find another club where I can settle down.

"I can come here on a free transfer so money should not be a problem".
