The death has taken place of Judge AG Murphy who served as a judge of the Circuit Court in Cork for 16 years up to his retirement from the position in 2001.

Judge Murphy (80) who lived in Tivoli in Cork city, died yesterday at Marymount Hospice in Cork.

He is survived by his wife, Dot and his sons, Simon, Jerry and Adam.
