A journalist admitted yesterday to sexually assaulting a schoolgirl in a Dublin hotel bedroom in 1994 and 1995. Frank Hamilton, formerly the editor of the now closed Limer- ick Weekly Echo, was remanded on bail for sentence at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on July 6th.
Hamilton, of Shanaboolly Avenue, Ballynanty, Limerick, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the girl, now 16, twice between July 10th and November 30th, 1994, and January 1st and July 30th, 1995, at Jurys Inn, Christchurch, Dublin.
