Irish industrial output up in October

The volume of Irish industrial production in October grew by 10.8 per cent compared with the same month last year.

The volume of Irish industrial production in October grew by 10.8 per cent compared with the same month last year.

According to figures from the Central Statistics Office today, production in the three months from August to October was 0.1 per cent below that of the previous three-month period to July.

Much of the rise in October came from the modern sector, which includes chemicals and technology.
