Man (20s) arrested as part of investigation into murder of Keane Mulready-Woods

A man in his 20s has been arrested as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of 17-year-old Keane Mulready-Woods in Drogheda, Co Louth, last year.

The man was arrested in Dublin on Thursday morning and is currently being detained at Louth Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Mulready-Woods was last seen alive in Drogheda on January 12th, 2020. Parts of the teenager’s dismembered body were found in several locations.

To date, two people have been charged in relation to the murder investigation and are due to be tried in the Special Criminal Court.

A Garda spokesman said investigations are ongoing.
