Gardaí said last night they had found a 12-year-old boy who went missing from his home in Blackrock, Co Dublin, more than a week ago.

“He’s safe and sound,” said a spokesman without elaborating as to the circumstances in which the boy had been found.

Ned Connors Cash was last seen on Saturday, July 26th.

Gardaí had earlier described him as 1.5m (5ft 1in), of thin build, with blue eyes and fair hair. They said he was known to frequent Bray, Co Wicklow, and Tallaght in Dublin. It was not clear last night if he had turned up in either location.
