Ireland captain Keith Wood is one of a number of first-choice players missing from a 51-man squad which has been selected for a two-week training camp in Poland.

Wood, along with Paul Burke, has club commitments for Zurich Premiership side Harlequins and injured quartet Kevin Maggs (arm), Geordan Murphy (shoulder), Paul O'Connell (back) and David Wallace (shoulder) are also absent.

Also not travelling due to injury are Ulster duo Jonathan Bell (Achilles) and Jeremy Davidson (knee) and London Irish wing Justin Bishop, who is getting married.
