Gardaí are investigating an attack on two elderly brothers in Co Kerry early today.
The men were attacked after their house on Valentia Island was broken into by a gang of intruders shortly before 1 a.m.
It is understood up to four men tied them up the brothers and beat them before escaping with a large amount of cash.
Both men are being treated in hospital for shock.
