The Irish National Organisation of the Unemployed is to seek direct meetings with the Minister for Finance, Mr Quinn, following his announcement that future pre Budget submissions from interest groups will only be received by the Select Committee on Finance and General Affairs.
"We believe that because of the scale of unemployment INOU recommendations on tackling the problem must be received and acted upon at the highest level," said the INOU vice chairman, Mr Dessie Bonass.
