Racing: Last year's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe hero Rail Link has been ruled out for the season due to a tendon injury.

The Andre Fabre-trained four-year-old has yet to race this term after suffering a setback during the winter but connections had been hoping to get him back on the track soon.

But Lord Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, confirmed the colt will not run this season and no decision has been made on his career yet.

"The colt has suffered a tendon strain and will not race this year. A decision on his future will be announced shortly," he said.
