A spoof letter accompanied by a brown paper bag and purporting to come from the Paradise Cumman of FF in Dublin South West, has reached this office. It asks for money for the next general election to be sent to M.J. Stokes urgently. "We are fighting against the clock (the tribunals). Should you wish to pay by cheque rather than cash leave it blank and we will fill in the details ourselves." It is signed by Jos Goebbels and has a P.S. as follows: "To be read in sublime and exalted grandeur with background music The Slaves Chorus from Verdi's Nabucco and a large brandy".
