IMPACT's Aer Lingus cabin crew committee have unanimously advised members to reject a recent Labour Court proposal on pay and conditions.

The recommendations, which were published today, were described as "inadequate" and likely to lead to unacceptable new working conditions by IMPACT.

There will be a ballot of members between January 24th and 30th on the proposals, the possible rejection of which could lead to further strike action.

IMPACT, which represents 1,400 Aer Lingus cabin crew, staged a one-day strike on October 17th, 2000, which caused widespread disruption to services.
