The Minister of State for Housing will respond next week to the recommendations from the Commission on the Private Rented Residential Sector.
A spokesman for Mr Bobby Molloy said that the Minister had been considering the report, which was published in July.
Among its recommendations are the establishment of a private residential tenancies board which would have power to advise on housing policy. Provision of a degree of security of tenure is another recommendation.
