The strike at the Royal Dublin Hotel is likely to intensify following the granting of an all out picket by the Irish Congress of Trade Unions. Thirty two SIPTU members have been on strike since the start of the week in pursuit of a pay claim. The secretary of the Hotels and Catering Branch of SIPTU, Mr Norman Croke, said yesterday that his members were available for talks with the hotel management at any time. He denied the claim by management that the hotel was carrying out business as usual.
