The death toll from a killer atypical pneumonia virus in Hong Kong rose to 12 today with the death of an elderly man, government health officials reported.
Another 45 sufferers were also added to the territory's tally of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) cases, raising the total to 470, officials said in a statement.
