A protest staged by homecare helpers last night called for greater transparency from the HSE in putting services out to tender, reports Cían Nihill.
Some 70 people gathered outside the Dáil for what was the second street protest this year against the HSE’s plans to put out to tender enhanced care services.
These are defined as services above and beyond usual homecare services for elderly people.
