Heroin worth an estimated €2.4 million was seized in Kill, Co Kildare by gardaí yesterday.
Gardaí arrested four men and seized 12kg of heroin when they stopped and searched cars off the Naas Road.
Three men in their 20s and one man aged 51 were arrested at the scene.
The seizure was part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in Dublin by the Garda National Drugs Unit.
