Favourite Tiger Woods is scheduled to tee off at 9.09 a.m., and holder Ernie Els of South Africa is due to start at 1.54 p.m.

Ireland's Darren Clarke, second to Els at Loch Lomond last week, is one over par after two holes.

Padraig Harrington starts his tournament at 9.20 a.m.; Gary Murphy and Paul McGinley start at 11.26 a.m. and 2.27 p.m., respectively.
