IRON OVERLOAD: Haemochromatosis is a hereditary disorder caused by an overload of iron in the body.

Its symptoms include chronic fatigue, joint pain, diabetes, loss of sex drive and an irregular heart beat. The Irish Haemochromatosis Association (IHA) is holding a series of free public meetings to alert people to this common but under-diagnosed disorder. YOUR HEALTH SHOW: Nutritionist Dr Marilyn Glenville, psychologist Dr Sean Collins, medical herbalist Dr Margaret Whitelegg and allergy specialist Dr Joe Fitzgibbon are among the speakers who will give public talks at Your Health Show in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin from 11am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Organised by the Dublin City Council's Play Development Team and children's play charity, Súgradh, it takes place from 10am-2pm on Thursday in St Catherine's Community and Sports Centre, Marrowbone Lane, Dublin 8.
