A drug addict who threw a bag of heroin over his balcony when he saw gardai approaching his flat has been remanded for sentencing by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Alan Tun stead (28), St Michael's Estate, Inchicore, a father of three, pleaded guilty to possessing heroin with a street value of £4,500 for sale and supply on August 24th, 1998.
