A 600-tonne ship was refloated yesterday after running aground near Bangor, Co Down. The Northumbria Lass was stranded on rocks at Wilson's Point around 5 a.m. The vessel was on its way from the Clyde to Belfast Harbour when it strayed off course. A spokesman for Bangor Coastguard said no pollution resulted from the incident.
