A 14-year-old girl died in hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning after being hit by a car in Tallaght, Co Dublin.
Jennifer Hogan of Donomore Crescent in Tallaght was brought to Our Lady's Hospital, Crumlin, after being struck on Killinarden Way at 9.30 p.m. on Wednesday. She died a few hours later from her injuries.
A Garda investigation is under way.
