Gardai in Louth yesterday recovered two stolen vehicles, smuggled cigarettes and two rifles in a series of planned searches. They were concealed under bales of hay in a remote area near Dromiskin in mid-Louth.
Other searches revealed a large quantity of cigarettes, which gardai believe were smuggled. No arrests have been made and the searches are expected to continue today.
