Gardaí have named the woman who was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Co Tipperary yesterday.
Ms Josephine Kennedy, who was in her 50s, from Drom, Templemore was struck by a car at 5.40 p.m. in the village. The car failed to stop and Ms Kennedy died at the scene.
A man in his 20s was arrested a short time later in the Templemore area. He was later released without charge and a file was sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
