Gardaí in Dundalk are investigating an incident in which arsonists attacked a house in the town occupied by non-nationals yesterday evening.
Flammable liquid was poured through the letterbox of the house and set alight at about 11.30 p.m. No one was injured in the attack, but there was minor fire and smoke damage.
It is unclear if the attack was racially motivated, but gardaí are looking for one or more suspects involved in the incident. The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
