A man (55) is in hospital this morning after being shot in the leg by a masked gang in Newtownards, Co Down, last night.
Police say the victim was attacked by four men as he walked his dog in the Bowtown estate at about 9 p.m.
The man was forced to his knees before being shot once in what police say is a "paramilitary-style" attack.
