The GAA today confirmed details of fixtures for August with the most eagerly awaited the All-Ireland SHC quarter-final replay between Waterford and Cork to take place, somewhat bizarrely, after the Kilkenny v Wexford semi-final at Croke Park this Sunday (5th).
After their nail-biting 3-16 apiece draw yesterday Waterford and Cork will do it all again This Sunday with throw-in at 4pm after Kilkenny take on Wexford at 2pm. The replay will go into extra time if necessary.
The Christy Ring Cup final between Westmeath and Kildare will also take place at headquarters on Sunday with the earlier throw-in time of 12.15pm.
The GAA also confirmed tickets for the Dublin v Derry All-Ireland SFC quarter final at Croke Park (August 11th) will go on sale from 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) through the GAA website ( www.gaa.ie) and Ticketmaster outlets nationwide. They will be available through the GAA ticket office at 01 8658657.
