The funeral of Britain's Queen Mother will take place on Tuesday, April 9 at Westminster Abbey in London, Buckingham Palace announced.
Her coffin will lie in state at nearby Westminster Hall from Friday until the Monday evening prior to the funeral so people can file past and pay their final respects, royal officials said.
