Four people were hospitalised this morning after a bus crashed in Co Offaly.

Four people were hospitalised this morning after a bus crashed in Co Offaly.

The driver was among the injured, according to a Garda spokesman, who said the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. Theose injured

were taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore.

The crash happened at about 9am at the junction of Frederick Street, just outside the town of Clara.

It is believed the bus was taking students to Moate Business College.

In April 2006, Michael White (15) died when a bus overturned near Rahan, Co Offaly, as it was bringing students from Clara to Killina Presentation secondary school.
