The death of a man who was found lying on a Dublin footpath yesterday is no longer being treated as suspicious, gardaí said this evening.

The body of the 54-year-old victim was discovered on Upper Mayor Street around 7.10pm.

Gardaí originally suspected a crime, however, following the results of a post-mortem examination this morning, foul play has now been ruled out.
