Miami - The chief plaintiff in a $5 billion class action against US tobacco companies has testified in a Miami court that as a flight attendant she was subjected to second-hand smoke which she claims led to her developing lung cancer. Ms Norma Broin (42) told the jury that she worked for 14 years amid "very, very, very, very dense" clouds of cigarette smoke before airlines banned smoking on domestic flights. - (AFP)
