Flanagan’s suspension will take effect from next Wednesday, August 21st as the former Cork City midfielder was also fined €40 for reaching 11 penalty points.

David O’Connor (Leeds AFC) picked up a three-match ban while Stephen Brady (Garda) was punished with a two-match ban for his sending off against Bohemians. Pat Keane (Rockmount) - brother of Manchester United captain Roy - received a one-match suspension.
