Five men are being questioned by gardai today in relation to an alleged organised credit card scam.

Detectives in Cork made the arrests last night after seizing hundreds of cloned credit cards, a card skimmer, cash, laptop computers and documentation from a house at Wilton, Co Cork.

The five men — who are aged from 24 to 52 — were held at Togher and Bridewell garda stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Two of the men have appeared before a special sitting of Cork District Court charged in connection with the credit card scam.
