Jordan expect Giancarlo Fisichella to race in this weekend’s German Grand Prix at Hockenheim.
Doctors ruled the Italian out of the French Grand Prix on Sunday after a high speed collision during the practice session but reports from within the Jordan camp suggest their number one driver has recovered and will take his place on the grid.
The 29-year old has enjoyed several days rest and, subject to examination by Professor Sid Watkins, will compete this weekend, Jordan have announced.
"I'm very curious to experience the new circuit with its recent modifications and I'm very committed about this race," said Fisichella himself.
