Fischer warns over integration

London - The German Foreign Minister, Mr Joschka Fischer, warned against "renationalisation" in the European Union but attempted to allay fears of an EU "superstate" during a speech here yesterday. Mr Fischer, a leading European federalist, was speaking to the German-British Forum after he spent the day in talks with the British Foreign Secretary, Mr Robin Cook. "To roll back integration would be a fatal mistake," said Mr Fischer.
