Pat Fenlon is expected to be nominated new manager of Shelbourne at a board meeting at Tolka Park tonight.
The 33 year-old has been a midfield lynchpin for Shels ever since he joined the club from rivals Shamrock Rovers in 1997. He was named Shelbourne Player of the Year for the 2000/01 season.
If Fenlon’s appointment is confirmed, he will replace Dermot Keely, who stepped down as manager three weeks ago.
