The young Co Louth couple killed on Monday, hours before they were due to go to Australia, were buried side by side yesterday.
Dominic Wogan (23), of Main Street, Collon, and Fiona O'Neill (21), of Sillogue, Monasterboice, died when a truck collided with their car at Tullyesker, on the main Dublin to Belfast road.
Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Collon, They were told by local curate Father Michael Murtagh that the young couple had been "wonderful, vibrant, loyal, witty, attractive, good craic and decent".
